Good Afternoon Bobcat Families,

This is coming out a day early because I will be with the CHS Music students on their Heritage Festival trip tomorrow, Friday, to Monday (my son is in choir so I am chaperoning).  The district office knows I am gone and is on call if anything is needed and Mrs. Richards will be in charge while I am away.

Family Dance
I forgot to put this in last week’s communication.  Thank you to everyone that helped make the Family Dance such a success last week, especially Lauren Keaton, Erin Adams, Sarah Smith, and Patrica Anderson. Of course, a special shout-out to Mr. A and Ms. Di for their patience and encouragement in teaching the kids such incredible & fun dances. We hope you all had a blast.

District Band Festival

Well done 5th grade band students!  You put on a great concert on Tuesday night.  Thank you, Mrs. Crawford, for all you do for our students in teaching them about music and how to play.  It is impressive!

Lost and Found

Make sure to check the lost and found.  Items left there after next Thursday will be donated.

Tular PTO Stampede Info

The Tularcitos Stampede is our annual benefit dinner and auction on May 18, 2024 at Hidden Valley Performance Center. It’s an amazing adults-only party to raise money and celebrate our amazing community. This event, along with our back to school Bucks for Bobcats, is the only time our PTO asks for donations.

This years’ fundraising event features delicious BBQ from Jerome’s, local Alvarado Street Brewery beer, Joyce Wines and El Jefe margaritas, with live music from the Bubba Pickens Band.  Plus a Live and Silent Auction & Raffle. We will also be honoring our amazing neighbors, Carmel Valley Community Youth Center, with our 3rd annual Tularcitos Community Leader Award.

What makes this fundraiser so special is curating all the auction items from our amazing Tularcitos community- which means YOU! Artists, authors, wine makers, small and large businesses, woodworkers, chefs - we have an amazing community who supports us, and we love to support them.

We ask you to please consider sponsoring or donating an item that represents your business or family to our local community. All items will receive recognition and gratitude from our community for helping local students.

Below are links to both sponsorship and donation forms.  They are also attached to this message.

Tickets and table sponsorships will be available for purchase shortly. There will also be childcare available by reservation. More information to follow. Please save the date and spread the word! This is a party you don’t want to miss!!  Meanwhile, if you need additional information please contact me via  gina.nucci@gmail.com

With heartfelt gratitude, thank you for your consideration to support our children, and this incredible school and community.

Our next general meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 4 at 6:30pm at CVCYC and on Zoom. We look forward to seeing you there. Last month’s meeting minutes are posted to the website. We will also be announcing open positions for the next school year—please consider working on one of our many projects or committees. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

New Lunch Menu Starting Monday, April 1

There is a new lunch menu starting Monday.  It is attached and can be found on our website. https://www.carmelunified.org/domain/20

Team Uniforms – Not at School

This is a reminder that, while students are allowed to wear professional team jerseys, they are not allowed to wear their personal baseball or softball (or other sports) jerseys to school.  If they need the uniform for after school, please have them put it in their backpack and not wear it to school.  If you are wondering why… In the past we have had problems with competitiveness that takes place on the field enter school with students wearing their jerseys to school which is why they are not allowed.

TK and Kinder Registration for Next Year – Pass the word

TK and Kinder registration for next year is open.  Please pass the word to anyone you know with an incoming student.  To register, use the “Registration” tab on our website and follow the directions to get started.  Please reach out to Kristen in the office with any questions.  Returning students do not need to do anything at this time.   You will receive an email in July from CUSD asking you to complete the Parent Data Confirmation and upload 1 residency document before the start of next school year.
