Congressional Art Competition


Congratulations to the three students who submitted art work to the Congressional Art CompetitionAthena Fosler Brazil earned Honorable Mention.  Amaya Gomez earned Second Place and her piece will be displayed in Congressman Panneta's office in Washinton DC for a year.  Itzel Rios Elis won first place!  Itzel won a scholarship and two tickets to DC to see the unavailing of her art work, which will be displayed in the Capitol Building to represent our district along with 434 pieces of art that represent the other districts of the United States of America.  Congressional Recognition Certificates were also awarded to Art Teachers, Steven Russell and Holly Lederle.
