Welcome to the Maintenance, Operations & Transportation Department
Carmel Unified School District serves a large geographic area of approximately 600 miles. Bus transportation is provided on a fee basis to students who reside in the areas served by bus routes. Transportation is also provided to Special Education students at no cost if it is needed by a student to get to the appropriate program. Information on routes, scheduled bus stops, and bus fees is available from the transportation Department. The phone number is (831) 624-6311.

To Parents/Guardians: To apply for free school bus transportation services, you must return a completed and signed application to the school office. School officials may check the information on the application at any time during the school year. You may be asked to submit information to validate your income. You do not have to give the information, but if you do not, we cannot approve your child for free transportation.

The Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep of all of the District's facilities. The district is involved in many projects related the recent Bond that was approved overwhelmingly by the voters in the District.
