Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all staying healthy, and enjoying your time off.  Below the Classlink icon, there are some fun projects to check out while you work from home - just about an hour each week.
Have fun,
Mrs. Petersen

Kindegarten and First Grade - have some fun on Starfall and check out some stories on Storyline Online.  Or try out any of the other programs that we have used in class.

Second Grade - Some keyboard practive on Tying Agent would be awesome.  And your teachers have sent home your login card for Code.org, so log on and do some computer coding!

And do you like animals?  I have also pushed out a link to the San Diego Zoo.  Its fun to check out - which animal is your favorite?  If you have a little brother or sister, help them find their favorite too!

Third Grade - Get those fingers going on homerow with some Typing Agent practice, and then do some coding with Code.org.  Want to have a Dance Party? Check out some of the Hour of Code activites on Code.org.  Click on Dance Party and crank up the music, or scroll down, and check out the Minecraft or Frozen coding.

If you haven't yet, check out PBS Design Squad.  Get a parent to help you logon, click on "Design" and then just get creative!  This may look familiar from 2nd grade, but I bet you can top yourself now that you are a grade or two older.....Look for the Design Squad icon on your Classlink dashboard.

Fourth Grade - I checked the Gold Rush brochures, and they are looking good! If you are stuck, Student Links has the Gold Rush page with information and links to use.  And don't forget some typing practice.

Fifth Grade - Check out the Scratch Challenges!  On student links - see Scratch Challenges and Scratch meets Geometry. See if you can make some square and triangles.  Now that you've made some basic shapes - what about an octagon?? Username and password reminders are on the Scratch pages.
