Hello! My name is Niccole Tiffany and am currently a fifth grade teacher at River School. This is my 14th year working for Carmel Unified School District. I have been teaching for 21 years in a variety of capacities: 4th grade & GATE for 4 years, Physical Education/Visual and Performing Arts/Occupational Therapy/GATE for 3 years, and GATE teacher/coach/coordinator for CUSD for 5 years. During the 2020-2021 school year, I will be teaching my 9th year of 5th grade.

I grew up in Green Bay, WI (Go Packers!!!) and San Diego, CA. I graduated from high school in San Diego and then received my BA in Cultural Anthropology from UCLA. After traveling through the US, Mexico, and Central America, I received my multiple subject teaching credential from Humboldt State and worked on my Masters of Arts in Education at CSUMB.

I am married with two children, one at Carmel Middle School and another at Carmel High School. When I'm not working, I love to travel, build and design, swim, learn, play sports, juggle, twirl poi, and spend time with my family.

I am so happy to be teaching fifth grade, and I look forward to an educational and exciting year. I know this school year will be a strange and challenging one, but we are in this together! Go Otters!
