NEW Local Author Book Series
Hey CMS readers! 📚 Exciting news – we've got an awesome new book series in the library from a local author, perfect for sports-loving middle schoolers! While you can read the books out of order, starting with Book 1; Fresh Start is the way to go for maximum satisfaction. Packed with fun, suspenseful sports scenes, and wholesome teen romance, this series is a must-read. Written primarily for boys aged 9-15, it's an engaging journey with great role models, life lessons, and surprises along the way. Dive into this fantastic series and enjoy the thrilling adventures!

Currently, we're celebrating the triumphs of two outstanding individuals who emerged victorious in our Geography Bee and Spelling Bee competitions. 📚 Get ready for the Battle of the Books (BOB) – it's right around the corner! Make sure you're diving into your books because teams need to be locked in by March 11th. The Battle will unfold from March 25th to the 29th, and epic prizes await both participants and the triumphant group. National Pi-Day March 14th!!
🥧 Pi-Day is just around the corner on March 14th, and we're cooking up some mathematical fun! Now, what's Pi? Think of it as the secret sauce in the world of circles – it's the number you get when you divide the circumference of a circle by its diameter. Exciting, right? Well, get ready for a Pi-Day Challenge in the library on the 14th. Check out the Library website for tricks to remember Pi's digits. Last year's Pi prodigy nailed 628 numbers and won a PIE– can you top that? Here's a bite-sized piece to get you started: 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510... Let's make Pi-Day unforgettable!

The March Jar is ready for guessing.
This month at the library, it's all about testing your luck of the Irish! Swing by and take a guess at how many marshmallows are packed into our jar of lucky charms. Remember, one guess per student! The one with the closest guess wins the entire jar of lucky charms for their advisory class. Are you the one to bring home the pot of gold...or in our case the pot of marshmallows?
