Welcome to the  Maintenance, Operations & Transportation Department

Carmel Unified School District serves a large geographic area of approximately 600 miles. Bus transportation is provided on a fee basis to students who reside in the areas served by bus routes. Transportation is also provided to Special Education students at no cost if it is needed by a student to get to the appropriate program. The Maintenance Department is responsible for the upkeep of all of the District's facilities. The district is involved in many projects related the recent Bond that was approved overwhelmingly by the voters in the District
