Do you think you can read 30 books in 5th grade? We think you can, and we challenge you to do so!
Below are the guidelines for participating in the challenge.
This challenge is NOT mandatory. It is only if you want to participate.
30 books is the goal, but you are welcome to read more than the required amount.
You may read any book that you choose, but you may only read each book once for it to count. (At least half must be in your reading level range.)
You will need to log your reading into a Google Form so that we can monitor your progress. Click HERE for the link to the form.
There will be reading goals for each semester. If you meet or pass that goal, you will be invited to a celebration during school hours. Transportation will be provided..
Semester 1 = 14 books All students in the district that meet this goal will be invited to an ice cream party.
Semester 2 = 16 books (30 total) All students in the district that meet this goal will be invited to a laser tag party to celebrate this huge accomplishment!
Each student that makes their Semester goal will have their name displayed at their school site for everyone to see!
