Mr. Guzowski
Hi there, my name is Ted Guzowski, Mr. G., and I have had the pleasure of teaching at Captain Cooper School and Apple Pie Preschool in the rural community of Big Sur since 1996. After moving up the coast, I have had the privlege of teaching at Tularcitos since 2012. My love for exploring, learning, and teaching was instantly realized after graduating from Humboldt State with a degree in Natural Resources when I began subbing at Apple Pie Preschool. To see the joy and exhilaration in the faces of these students as they learned new things from meaningful experiences made me feel I had found my place in the world.
In June of 2000 I earned my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Cal. State Univeristy Monterey Bay, and in 2008 I received my Masters in Education from Chapman University.
When I am not teaching and learning new things you might find me having a blast with my family. We enjoy bike riding in the mountains and along the prestine Monterey Bay, creating with Legos, listening to great music, and just being together.
