• Every BODY needs exercise. Captain Cooper School recommends 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

    Here are some suggestions

    Outside:

    • Go for a hike or a run
    • Play catch
    • Go to a park and play on the jungle gym. Create your own Boot Camp Lap.
    • Ride your:  Bike, skateboard, horse, scooter, surf board, pogo stick or unicycle. As long it does not have a motor it is ok.

    (WEAR A HELMET)

    • Go swimming
    • Take a walk on the beach and pick up trash.
    • Go fly a kite.
    • Jump rope.

    Inside:

    • Stretch, or do some yoga
    • Practice balancing on different body parts (NOT YOUR HEAD) and make different shapes with your body.
    • Balance objects on different body parts
    • Have a dance party
    • Practice juggling
    • Cup stacking or  Card stacking
    • Do some calisthenic exercise.  Roll some dice to see how many repetitions you have to do, for example: Push-ups, Sit-ups, Jumping jacks, Crab kicks, Burpees, Mountain climbers, Squats, Lunges, Run in place…
    • Check out the list of websites with great ideas

Have fun, explore, log your exercise, and don’t forget to take three mindful breaths several times a day.
