Monterey County Free Libraries
Monterey County Free Libraries may be closed during this time, but digital books and resources are still available with a current library card. I use Overdrive, which delivers books to my Kindle, but can also be listened to or read on a phone or tablet. This is a great option to keep those kiddos reading. MCFL also offers TumbleBooks, a read-along digital library full of picture books and stories.

Audible is FREE for Kids Now
Amazon's audiobook database, Audible, is currently offering FREE books in six different languages to kids. This is a great resource so kids can engage in stories while doing other things. My own children love to listen in the car, but listening during creative play (drawing, building, etc.)
*** DON'T FORGET *** If you listen to audiobooks or your child reads on their own, log those minutes in the Six Flags Reading Challenge to earn a free ticket to the Zoo/Amusement park! Reading Logs are due digitally by April 17th. You can fill them out online or email Mrs. Tischio upon completion of the challenge.
