Jen Martin

TK-5 Instructional Coach

Jen Martin has taught almost every grade from 1st up to 7th and has loved every bit of it. She grew up in Sonoma County and had the joy of teaching 9 years, mostly in Sacramento. She has a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and has presented at national conferences. She truly loves sharing and refining her practice every day and helping other educators to refine theirs as well. When not at school, Jen enjoys traveling to new places and immersing herself in different cultures. She also enjoys hiking, running, reading, playing soccer, stand up paddle boarding, hanging out with her friends, husband, and mini doodle, and loves just about any activity outdoors.

Anna Williams

6-8 Instructional Coach - History-Social Science

Anna graduated from CUSD schools, earned her B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University, and finally acquired two teaching certificates from UC Santa Cruz. She has been teaching sixth grade core, but much more often seventh grade world history for over a quarter century at Carmel Middle School. As she likes to think, Anna has never really matriculated beyond seventh grade. Her affinity for CUSD was ultimately shown in 2015, when Anna married her CHS sweetheart in the wiffle ball stadium at CMS officiated by a fellow teacher after a faculty meeting. In her off-professional time, Anna plays mah jongg with her “sisters,” researches family history, hikes, and road-trips with her husband.
