River School Goals

  • The Carmel River School, School Site Council (SSC), which is comprised of River School teachers, a support staff member, Principal and elected parents, joined together to create three major school goals and initiatives for the 2019 - 2020 school year. Attached is the plan that documents the goals reflected in the Single Plan for Student Achievement, or "SPSA," which was approved by the School Board on June 26, 2019. The three goals include:

    1. All students engage in challenging, innovative, and relevant curriculum that prepares them for college and career.

    2. All students achieve personal wellness through an environment that fosters health and happiness.

    3. All staff engages in continual professional development to meet the District’s academic and social-emotional goals.
