This is my thirteenth year as a resource specialist at Tularcitos and I feel very fortunate to be part
of this amazing school and district! My teaching experience started as a preschool teacher in Napa.
When our youngest son started kindergarten, I went back to school for my credential. I taught first grade for two years before going into special education as a resource specialist.
My education includes an associate's degree and certificate in early childhood education from
Napa Community College; a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, master’s in education, and multiple-subject teaching credential from National University; and a mild-to-moderate disability specialist credential from Sacramento State University.
My husband, Jim, and I came to Carmel in 2007 as empty nesters. Our two sons are doing great. They're college grads, married and starting their own families. Jim enjoys carpentry and kayaking.
I love to read, take walks and hikes in this beautiful area, and relax with friends and family.
