This is my thirteenth year as a resource specialist at Tularcitos. I've been a teacher for more than twenty years, teaching preschool and first grade before going into special education. I received an associate's degree and certificate in early childhood education from Napa Community College; bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, master’s in education, and multiple-subject teaching credential from National University in Sacramento; and a mild-to-moderate disability specialist credential from Sacramento State University.
My husband, Jim, and I came to Carmel in 2007 from northern California. Jim enjoys carpentry and kayaking. In my free time I love to read, watch movies, and go outside. I'm always up for a walk with friends!
Carmel Valley is an extraordinarily beautiful place, and the heart of the valley is Tularcitos School. Our enthusiastic and curious students inspire me with their eagerness to learn, their kindness and spirit of generosity. Go Bobcats!
