Sober Grad Night will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, and as part of the preparation leading up to this wonderful night, the Sober Grad Night committee hosts a series of "Minute Parties".

 

Each party will be held during the 15 minute morning break, typically in the Breezeway in front of the CHS office. The purpose of these "Minute Parties" is to create a buzz for Sober Grad as we aim for a 100% attendance to ensure all our graduates a safe and festive graduation night. But these Minute Parties are also a reminder of why we host Sober Grad Night. Every two minutes, a person is injured in a drunk driving crash. In 2019, 10,142 people died in drunk driving crashes – one every 52 minutes – (Source: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)

All Seniors are invited and an invitation/reminder is announced in the Daily Bulletin every day during the week of the Minute Parties. At the party, a drink, a food item, and a small gift is handed out to each Senior with a note reminding them about Sober Grad.
