Nature Study is an elective class where students learn about our local wildlife in a "hands-on" way. Working outside, we discover, identify, and learn the stories of hundreds of birds, amphibians, insects, wildflowers, and other critters. Field guides, microscopes, binoculars, field notebooks, and collecting vials are our many tools. We also do lots of "nature crafts" such as scientific illustration, embroidery, photography, and book making. This web site was made for sharing our research with others and inspiring students to take our class or discover one of our nature hobbies.
