TK before & after care

  • Room 8 at the Carmel Child Development Center (CCDC) provides a safe and nurturing environment for our TK students needing the before and afterschool care.  The Teacher to child ratio is 1:8. The teacher provides a developmentally appropriate program designed to develop each child’s critical thinking, sense of competence, and positive feeling toward learning. We believe children are active learners who learn best from activities that are concrete, real, and relevant to their lives. Our program is based on the premise that children learn about the world through their social interactions. Children are encouraged to be active participants in discussions and explorations with the class.

Christina earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion.

Christina Price

Christina began working for Carmelo in 2018, she is excited to share her knowledge with our young students. Christina has worked many years in the Health field teaching and implementing health education programs for young families.
