Laura earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. She holds a California State Child Center Master Teaching Credential and a Child Development Program Director Permit.

Laura has been working in Early Childhood Education for over 30 years and she began working at Carmelo in 1997. She has taught infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children. She has worked in the administration at Carmelo for various types of Child Development programs since 2012.
